Stor-Elvdal, Sundfloen 19591212 Mrs. Oddbjørg, married to Konrad Nygaard (60), former farm worker, forest work and timber. From mid-May to the end of November or only in December, Konrad Sundmann carries people and cattle, cars and driving donations across the Sundfloen ferry in Stor-Elvdal. He lives in a tiny ferry room on Trønnes sides of Glomma. For the rest of the year he lives with his family in Taraldshauggrenda and driver as a patchwork. Taraldshauggrenda is only half a kilometer from the ferry room, but as long as Konrad joins the Sundmanns job, he can never go home - at least not without renting a substitute - because he is obliged to shoot road users across the river around the clock, if anyone shows up.
