An Afghan girl looks for her sheep through a dust storm in Kabul, June 15, 2003. The Asian Development bank has recently approved a $ 150 million loan to Afghanistan which will be used for repairs and reconstruction of 450 kilometers of primary roads, power transmission lines in the northern provinces and the electricity distribution system in Kabul. However, years of conflicts have destroyed most of the infrastructure in Afghanistan and its estimated that Afghanistan will need as much as $30 billion over the next decade to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed during 22 years of war.
