Part of a rudder fell off a British Airways Concorde supersonic jet during a flight to New York last week, the airline said on Wednesday. A spokeswoman said nobody was injured during flight 001 on November 27, when a small part of one of the plane's four rudders dropped off en route from London to New York's JFK airport. She said the airline and the authorities were investigating the cause of the problem. It was the fifth time pieces of a rudder have come off Concordes in the past 13 years, although none of these incidents has caused injury. REUTERS/Brendan McDermid BM/SV
