Golfspiel. Das Rasenballspiel, das nach dem im Hollandischen Kolf (= Kolben) genannten Schlagstock so heisst, blickt auf eine sehr lange Entwicklung zuruck. In Persien war es bereits bekannt und in Frankreich, den Niederlanden und England war es schon im 16 Jahrh ein beliebtes Spiel. In Deutschland, wo es bisher als Luxus galt, versucht man heute das Golf mehr als Volkssport einzufuhren. Translation: Golf Game.
