Portratsitzung Im Schloss. Der Portratmaler wurde zu der Zeit, als es noch keine Photographie gab, mit Auftragen uberhauft. Jeder wollte sich mindestens einmal im Leben fur seine Familie im Bilde festgehalten sehen. Vor allem traten damals Furstlichkeiten und Adel als Auftraggeber auf, denn ihre Familientradition verlangte, dass jedes Mitglied der Ahnengalerie auch sein Portrat anreihte.
