An almost full-length portrait of the wife of Sir George Vernon, 2nd Bt as a young woman, turned to the left, and gazing to the left, dark hair, wearing a pale mauve dress and a large grey and hat holding in her right hand a bunch of delphiniums which lie in the crook of her left arm.
