Postcard shows a view looking over South Marine Park, from the terraces in the direction of the Wouldhave Memorial. The Marine Parks Restaurant can be seen to the right of the Wouldhave Memorial and in the distance can be seen the Groyne and Tynemouth. A man stands in the middle distance at far left, leaning against the terracing. Postcard published or sold by Jude of Ocean Road, South Shields. Postally used, sent 2.8.1904 (franked Newcastle-on-Tyne) to Miss Wilson in Brampton, Cumberland (the sender's sister), informing her that she was 'at the seaside'
