Ottoman style canopy bed in the Turkish bedroom of Getty mansion, made 20th century in antique Turkish style. Ann & Gordon Getty lived in a 1913 mansion in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights. Mrs. Getty was a brilliant interior designer and together the Gettys filled their home with layers of fine art, European and Asian antiques, and decorative arts. Their collection sold at Christie’s New York in October 2022 achieved over $150 million with all proceeds benefiting cultural charities.
