Oslo December 1969: Expedition Manager Jens Evensen (and bureau chief Ulf Underland, outside the picture) is at home after winning the first stage in the case against Greece in the Human Rights Commission in Strasbourg. It is the first time that a group of countries have distanced themselves from a military dictatorship in such a way that the country had to leave the Council of Europe. The attitude, a 1200 -page document is so revealing to the Greek Colonel in the Military Junt, that Greece would have been suspended from the council if they had not withdrawn with immediate effect.
