The ossuary, or small stone coffin, inscribed with the words in Hebrew, "Yeshua Bar Yohosef", or "Jesus the son of Joseph" with the lid opened as it sits on a chair in a warehouse of the Israeli Antiquities Authority April 2. The coffin is one of ten found in 1980 in a family's burial cave that has been dated to the first century AD. Two other ossuaries belonging to the family are inscribed with the names Mary and Joseph. All three names were very common according to archaeologists who do not believe that this ossuary actually contained Jesus' bones, which would throw the entire Christian concept of resurrection into doubt just prior to Easter.
