First-year students of Maiyuqiao Elementary School take Chinese language course with the assistance of iPad, a tablet computers, in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, June 15, 2012. Maiyuqiao Elementary school is running a pilot digital education program in which tablet computers are introduced to students in grade one to achieve enhanced in-class experience. Students can plan their own learning schedules by selecting course materials according to their needs. Classroom interactivity is also made easier, as students can take in-class quizzes and review homework assignments almost at any time, with the help of wireless network as well as sound and animation effects. The school will extend the iPad-assisted education program to grade-two students if the initial attempt fares well among first-years
