A South Korean activist from a conservative civic group shows wounds his colleague received during a scuffle with North Koreans, at a news conference in Seoul August 25, 2003. The civic group members insisted North Korean journalists caused sudden violence to them in Taegu on Sunday and demanded North Korean authority arrest the journalists. South Korea said on Monday it did not intend to apologise to Pyongyang over an anti-North demonstration at the world student games, despite threats by North Korea to pull out of the games unless Seoul took action.
