The fresco represents two miracles by St. Peter, described in the Acts of Apostles: in the left part, a crippled man is begging for money in front of a loggia, while St. Peter gives him his hand in order to heal him, under the careful eyes of the young St, John; in the right part, a Christian woman named Tabitha, wearing the shroud, is brought back to life by the saint, among astonished onlookers; in the middle of the scene, two middle-class men are walking along, unresponsive in respect of what is happening all around them; on the background, a square in a perspective view - maybe Piazza della Signoria in Florence - with crenellated houses and palaces and poles between windows; in the lower part of the photo, can be seen Filippino Lippi's The Debate of Simon Magus and The Crucifixion of St, Peter; the pillar on the right hosts The Temptation of Adam and Eve, and St Masolino da Panicale Brancacci Chapel
