An Air France Concorde F-BVFB is transported on the Rhine river in Au am Rhein near Karlsruhe, southern Germany, to its final destination, the Museum of Cars and Techniques in Sinsheim July 19, 2003. Retired from flying, the aircraft was given by Air France to the German 'Auto and Technik Museum' in Sinsheim. Air France and British Airways announced last April they were retiring the supersonic airliner because of rising maintenance costs and excessive fuel consumption, three years after the July 25, 2000 crash in Paris which killed 109 people on board, most of them German tourists.
