The visit comes after a British patrol discovered 14 bodies of ethnic Serb farmers overnight, who were found shot dead in a corn field close to their village. It was the bloodiest single incident in Kosovo since KFOR peacekeepers arrived in mid-June to restore security after the withdrawal of Yugoslav security forces. KFOR's main problem has been ethnic Albanian revenge attacks on Serbs.
