Burundi displaced civilians, walk back home March 15, 2001 in Kinama a northern suburb of the capital Bujumbura, after two weeks of heavy fighting with ethnic Hutu rebels that attacked the Burundian capital in the worst assault in years. Thousands of civilians who fled the city's northern suburb of Kinama, streamed back to their homes only to find that they had been looted of their most precious possessions. An estimated 200,000 mostly civilians, have been killed in Burundi's seven-year-old civil war which broadly pits minority Hutu rebels against the Tutsi dominated army and government. AN
