Feb. 25, 1954 - Woman-prepare for pancake race: Women contestants in thi year; Shrovetide Pancake race in the old market town of Olneym Burks, are busy practicsing for the race, which takes place nest Tuesday. this year, an old rule of this 500-years old evert is to be revived. Competitors will have to toss their pancakes not one-but three times-at the start, at the finish and half-way while running.
