Henriette Schønberg Erken (6/11-1866-22/10 1953) Household teacher and cookbook writer. During a long life, she helped characterize several generations' cooking, through teaching and demonstrations, but especially through her cookbooks. She published a new cookbook almost every year between 1895 and 1951, of which "large cookbook" from 1914 is the most comprehensive. From 1893 to 1927 she conducted school teaching, then more lectures and demonstrations. In 1908, the family moved to the Dystingbo farm at Hamar, where for a few years she ran a housewife school and teacher's school in household. In his teacher work, Schønberg also advertised for specific products and kitchen utensils.
