Jane MURFIN (born Jane Macklem, 27 October 1892 - 10 August 1955) American screenwriter, comedian and film director, along with Strongheart (von Etzel Oeringen, 1 October 1917 - 24 June 1929), the German shepherd dog that after receiving the training as a dog policeman in Germany was imported to the United States by the woman, who together with her husband Laurence Trimble, also director, brought him to the success in several films in which he was assigned the lead role.
