According to Jewish Tradition Beit El, which means "House of God" is built on the the place where according to Jewish tradition God told the Israelite patriarch Jacob that his descendents would inherit the Promised Land. Many of the 170,000 settlers who live in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip will be begging God with all their might to ensure that the upcoming peace summit fails miserably.
