Filipino caretaker Joel Jose lights candles for late President Ferdinand Marcos lying preserved in chemicals inside his mausoleum at Marcos' hometown of Batac, northern Philippines March 4. A power company shut off the electricity supply to the mausoleum after the late president's family failed to pay power bills totalling 5.643 million pesos (US$214,500). Marcos, who ruled the Philippines for 20 years until he was overthrown in a "people revolt" in 1986 has lain in an elevated glass coffin in the normally air-conditioned crypt since his return to the country in 1993.
