May 05, 1953 - Comet Crash gave them seats in Abbey for the coronation - Queens Scouts in London; Lieut. Col. A.G. Oldhan, of Melbourne, Australia, whose brother, The hon. T.G. Oldham, and his sister in law were killed in the Comet air liner which crashed near Calcutta while on their way to the Coronation - has been allowed by the Earl Marshal to take his brother's place in the Abbey at the Coronation ceremony, and to select another members of the Queen's Scouts, of which Lieut. Col. A.G. Oldham is the head, selected Troop Leader Alan Cook, of Mackay, Queensland, aged 17. Photo Shows Seen walking in London today are Lieut. Col. A. G.
