NASA ADMINISTRATOR GREETS CREW OF DISCOVERY AFTER LANDING, 1998-06-12 (photo)

NASA Administrator Daniel Goldin (L) shakes hands with shuttle Discovery Commander Charles Precourt during an informal press conference on the tarmac of the Shuttle Landing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center June 12. Precourt presented Goldin with an American flag which has been aboard Mir during American participation in the program. Seven astronauts were aboard the craft as it returned from the final U.S. mission to dock with the Russian Mir Space Station.
