NATO peacekeepers take their position in the village of Bradina during the final stage of their three-day routine exercise July 20, 2001. Members of the 19,5000 strong multi-national NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR), which is in charge of keeping the peace in Bosnia and also snatching the war crimes suspects in the war-torn country and handing them over to the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague. Two most-wanted suspects, former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and his military chief Ratko Mladic, both indicted for genocide committed during the war, are believed to be in hiding in the Serb-held eastern Bosnia, an area also controlled by SFOR.
