Selenga Delta - Mongolia - Russia - The Selenge River delta - The Selenga River delta observed by the Landsat satellite - 5 on 23/08/2010. The Mongolian river flows into Lake Baikal by a delta of 546 km2. The Selenge River delta near the border between Russia and Mongolia. Adjacent to the delta, as the river feeds Lake Baikal, are recently cultivated agricultural fields (noted by the geometric patterns) and lowland shrubs and grasslands.
