Location: Naples, Italy
Creator: Wladimir Tchertkoff
The school of Naples: this is the theme of the documentary, which concretely addresses a city situation and a problem of national interest. The survey gives a picture of the dramatic structural conditions of the school in the Campania capital: missing classrooms, entire districts without school buildings, schools that are unusable or with precarious toilets. But the film is not limited to documenting the complaint. Through a series of shots in schools and neighborhoods of the city, the testimonies of citizens and teachers, the parents' assemblies, the interventions of the left opposition within the city council, proves to be a popular will to fight to change things and to make the “right to education” concrete and real for all.
