THE SKI RESORT IN COURCHEVEL, 1980

We are in Courchevel, a French Alps ski resort. It is a part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski areas in the world. The film opens with a sign that reads in French "Win a stay in Courchevel" and continues with a shot from the calendar that informs us that it is Saturday, March 22, 1980. We see the ski resort, the air lifts, the cars in the parking lot, the building facilities as well as the snowy landscape. The lens focuses on a sign that says “La Fleche” and continues with the chalets as well as the incredible snow that has covered everything. We see for a while the air lift and the snowy firs and we get back to a group of friends that has started skiing. A close-up shot on the sigh of the "La Sivoliere" Hotel, the chalets as well as the crowd.
