'CVCINA' is part of the paneling of the study of Christian IV, painted in 1617-20. Artists as Frants Cleyn and Søren Kiær, who both returned from Italy in 1617, have been suggested as artists of the paintings which depict dogs, hunting and drinking scenes, and girls, dressed as virtues, and then this Arcimboldo-looking painting, that thematically has nothing to do with the rest of the paintings.
Painted in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo (1527-93).
