Vague distant view through a window on the right. Sir Charles Shirley, 3rd Bart 1623 - 1646, he died unmarried. Elder brother of Sir Robert Shirley, whose daughter Dorothy was George Vernon's second wife and so uncle to George (builder of the house) by marriage. Sudbury Hall, Derbyshire
