Surprise for two (colour litho)

Image description: Two-man surprise. This is what happened to a pilot and a driver near the airport in Orofino (Idaho - USA). The pilot, Merel Bowler, was landing with his device when he felt a shock. After traveling a stretch of the runway, it was clear that the plane's trolley was resting on a truck. But even the truck driver had not noticed the accident. You feel a bump, then having not observed anything in the rear-view mirror, I continue. It only stops when I notice the shadow of the wings. He leaned out of the cabin; I looked up and realized what had happened. Illustration for Courier Sunday, 11 September 1955.
