Queens of the Valley (Colour Litho)

Queens of the Valley. One of the oldest events in our Alps is the Battle of the Cows. The strongest of each herd clash in a duel, almost always bloodless, that highlights their physical qualities. The queens (two are chosen per valley) will then participate in the final battle that will be held in Nus on October 26, a race from which the queens of Val d'Aosta will come out. In the table we present the scene of the duel that in Valgrisanche, one of the most picturesque and least known regions of the Val d'Aosta, opposes Fribourg and Volene.
