Christ rides a donkey towards the gates of the city of Jerusalem, with his disciples following behind him. A youth places a cloak on the ground before the donkey, another holds a palm branch, and behind them a group of scribes and Pharisees.Text begininng with decorated initial 'D', and vine-leaf border with grotesque. Probably produced for John, Duke of Berry Image taken from Book of Hours. Originally published/produced in France [Bourges]; between 1405 and 1410.
