'Section of the softened portion of the left hemisphere. This section is made perpendicular to the Base of the Brain and exterior to the Coffins Pyramidal B-A. Cullins Case; in actual fact the drawing shows an arterial lesion, most likely to be an arteriovenous malformation adjacent to the thalamus;
