Inspired by Cycladic Figure of a Woman c.3200–2300 BC Kolar had multiple wooden copies made of a reproduction, covering each head with references to Greek contributions to Western civilization: astronomy, music, and poetry. The wax seals refer to 15th century Renaissance patrons of classical scholarship, and the base is covered with 16th century classical imagery. The pedestals refer to the Olympic Games.
