Oslo 1987-10-22: Tram accident in Oslo. 67 -year -old woman dies when carriage 606 on the Holmenkollbanen loses the brakes and spores at the Midtstuen station. The trolley is of the type covered with teak, which was built for the Winter Olympics 1952. The wagon from Oslo Sporveier was on a trip down from the Frognerseteren when it ran running, overturned and almost crushed. 12 people were taken to hospitals, one with serious injuries. The other eight wagons in the same series were immediately taken out of traffic for control.
