An old wall drawing depicting a portrait of Vlad the Impaler is seen in a house in Sighisoara May 10, 2001 in which lived his father [Vlad Dracul], who ruled over Walachia, southern Romania in the middle of the 15th century. The medieval city of Sighisoara in central Transylvania hosts a symposium on the controversial prince Vlad the Impaler. The bloodiest legends about Vlad Tepes inspired Bram Stoker for his famous novel "Dracula". The house is now a restaurant.
