During the Kaisermanoever in the summer of 1910 in East Prussia Emperor William II (X, in hunting uniform and dagger) on the 6th and 7th of September in the forests of Prince Richard of Dohna-Schlobitten (XX, also in hunting uniform) hunting. The image shows the emperor with two of his dachshunds (Witch, Erdmann or Dachs) and other huntsmen in front of Castle Proekelwitz (today Prakwice, owned by Schlobitten, Slobity) near Christburg in East Prussia. From left to right: Generaloberst (Colonel-General) Hans Georg von Plessen, wing adjutant Wilhelm von Dommes, the Emperor, personal doctor Dr. Otto von Niedner, Prince Richard of Dohna, wing adjutant von Chelius. The Emperor, who had been a close friend of Prince Dohna since his childhood (Liebenberger Kreis), regularly went hunting in Proekelwitz and Schlobitten. In 1892 Emperor William II became godfather of Richard's grandson Prince Alexander of Dohna-Schlobitten (1899 to 1997). The Emperor shot his strongest roebuck in Proekelwitz (horn weight 615 grams).
