On view is a snow covered street in St Moritz, canton of Grisons, Switzerland, where the Winter Olympics in the year 1948 took place. On January 30, 1998 it's been exactly 50 years since St Moritz conducted the 5th Winter Olympics. The Swiss male and female athletes won the first Winter Olympics after the Second World War three gold medals, four silver medals and three bronze medals.
