Image description: Creator: David Watkin Waters A general view of Kai Tak aerodrome, Hong Kong, looking north-west across the north end of the aerodrome with Lion Rock and Tai Mo Shan peak in the background. The photographer was serving in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy and his ship, the aircraft carrier Eagle (1918), was at Hong Kong in the periods 6 to 28 May 1937, 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938, 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34272 to P34275 inclusive were taken from the same location on the same day. Waters Collection: HNC0410
