Anti-Jabiluka uranium mine activists form a circle as police standby during a brief occupation of the lobby of the headquarters of North Limited a majority owner of the Jabiluka uranium mine August 17. Protesters evaded security to briefly occupy the lobby and called on all major shareholders in North Limited to withdraw their investments. But activists are battling a setback after UNESCO ruled last month the mine would not endanger the neighbouring Kakadu National Park in northern Australia. The protesters left the building without further incident. WB/CC
