'Poets' Shop', published in 'The Daily Mail', October 20 1920 (printed paper)

Article which tells of a shop in Boar's Hill, just outside of Oxford, that was set up for the benefit of various literary figures and scientists who lived there; The shop is said to have been opened by Mrs Michael Howard and Nancy Nicholson (1899-1977), daughter of the painter Sir William Nicholson, brother of the artist Ben Nicholson and wife of the poet Robert Graves; It is said that serving in the shop were to be found Robert Bridges (1844-1930) the poet laureate, John Masefield (1878-1967) poet laureate after Bridges, the writer John Galsworthy (1867-1933) and the public intellectual Gilbert Murray (1866-1957); The shop collapsed after six months resulting in heavy debts;
