Description
An Essex Educational Video Unit production presented by Stuart Baldwin. The programme describes a range of different types of fossil and how they are created. It also explores how to find and identify them, as well as what they can tell us. The video was filmed partly on the beach and cliffs at Walton-on-the-Naze and partly at Fossil Hall (S.A. Part 4. Into the lab with Stuart explaining his finds from Walton-on-the-Naze; fossils and modern shells. Consulting books, and telling the difference. Fossil fish. Reptiles and insects. Teeth.
